TRITON SHOWERS - Installer Guide

Our latest training video for Triton Showers was to show installers how easy it is to install Triton’s new Power, Electric and Mixer shower range. Using a step-by-step approach with handy hints and tips along the way, it attracted great interest from installers when launched at the massive Interbuild Exhibition held at the NEC. Visitors to the stand were able to request a copy on VHS or DVD.

1000 videos and DVDs were sent out and feedback has been excellent, resulting in increased sales, more awareness of Triton’s new shower range and fewer calls to their Customer Care Centre.

GREATER WARWICKSHIRE SPORT - Promotional

DBI were commissioned to produce a video to promote Active Sports within schools in the Greater Warwickshire Area, funded by Sport England under a Government Initiative. The video required powerful images, a strong narrative and creative editing to show the benefits of sport.

The storyline followed school teams from seven Local Authorities iIncluding interviews with Team Managers, Coaches and Sports Development Officers as they prepared for the Games, where 2000 competitors took part in 12 different sports all in one day.

Xtrac - Company Profile

Xtrac design and manufacture transmission systems to the Motorsport Industry including F1, Indy Car and World Rally Cars. Our brief was to produce a Corporate video highlighting their manufacturing process and to be of the highest quality to match their position as the world's leader in this field. The video gives an insight into the incredible precision engineering required at these levels and shows much more about the company than can be seen by a tour of the factory.

Rugby Cement - Information Film

DBI has long been associated with the Construction Industry. This was a major factor when Rugby Cement commissioned us to make a documentary of the building of their £145M new Cement Works over a period of 3 years. Taking on a project of this scale was a challenge. For instance, filming from above the 115 metre high Pre Heater Tower in a cage suspended from a giant crane is not for the faint hearted! Rugby Cement now has a record of the largest Cement Works built in the UK during the last decade and includes both the old and the new cement making plant. The video shows processes that will never be seen again.

Hartshorne Group – Health & Safety Awareness

We are the largest Volvo Truck dealership in the Midlands with 12 sites and over 450 employees. I am responsible for safety, and in the past, we have not found any off-the-shelf safety videos suitable for our type of business. Our personnel found them too remote and were not related to our working practices and could not identify with them.

DBI has produced successful corporate videos for us before, and they have a solid safety background so we commissioned them to produce a Safety Induction video/DVD more relevant to our company – including our all-important Vehicle Breakdown Recovery service. We are very pleased with the result. All the relevant safety measures are presented in a clear, concise and modern style and the reaction from staff is enthusiastic and very positive. As it was filmed on our premises with our staff, they see it as ‘our video’ and the safety message gets home. It is now an integral part of our safety programme and has significantly increased our safety awareness.

Guide Dogs for the Blind Association Dog Breeding Series

Part of the induction programme for GDBA staff included a visit to the Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa to learn how 1000 puppies a year are bred to become potential guide dogs. It was an expensive exercise and almost overwhelmed the small specialist staff.

DBI, who have already produced several Training Videos for the GDBA, were commissioned to produce a set of 7 seven induction videos covering all aspects of their successful breeding programme. As a result, staff now have a greater understanding of how guide dogs are bred without the need to travel long distances.

The GDBA made them available for sale to the general public through DBI and received rave reviews in the Dog Press. They quickly became the definitive guide to dog breeding and are used by Animal Care Colleges as an essential and integral part of their courses. Thanks to the publicity, the GDBA is now acknowledged as one of forerunners in the world of dog breeding.
